Off to the Races

The summer running season is here. I always love putting my toes to the start line. There is something motivating about lining up with other people to test yourself. And maybe compete with them. I rarely win, but there are often races within a race. And when my effort starts to wane, I always think about chasing a buck or bull in the fall.
In addition to my recently completed races, the Road to the Pogue 10k and The Dandelion Run half-marathon, I have a couple trail races on the calendar as part of the Shoe-Fly Trail run series, the Catamount Ultra 25k and maybe even a hill climb later in the summer.
So the training continues, always with an eye on the fall hunting season.
See you out there!
